A gem right in the heart of town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fantastic townhouse. The garage was perfect for our motorcycles, and the garden with its pool was ideal for relaxing after a tour through the Alpujarras. A truly charming house where you immediately feel at home!

After two weeks of traveling around Andalusia, we spent our last week in this wonderful house. It has three floors, each decorated with a unique flair. We were there in September, with outside temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, but it remained pleasantly comfortable inside. The location is perfect for shops and restaurants, yet you can relax in the beautiful, flower-filled garden. From Orgiva, you can also take day trips to places like the Sierra Nevada and Granada. Importantly, the owner, Stefan, is very friendly and willing to help you wherever possible.

A beautiful property, immaculately restored by Stefan and Naomi. It is an oasis of calm and peaceful but also ideal right in the centre of town. Stunning views from the house, and the pool and garden are so special, to have a cooling dip and with various corners to relax in the shade for a quiet read or nap. Lovely and large house with an incredible garden. The large avocado en lemon tree in provide a nice shade during hot summer days in the city centre of Orgiva. We had a wonderfull time at exceptional Gem.

We spent a week at Stefan’s beautiful house in the centre of Orgiva. From the date we booked, communication with Stefan was excellent, he always responded quickly and was most helpful. The house met all our expectations and the garden was really exceptional – lovely planting and lots of shady areas, plus a great pool for cooling off in. We wanted a relaxing holiday somewhere away from tourist spots and this was ideal. We were happy to spend our time pottering about the town and relaxing in the garden but there is some stunning countryside to explore for the more energetic. All in all a great holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stefan and Naomi’s house to anyone looking for a break in this part of Spain. Thanks Stefan and Naomi!!

We had a wonderful 11 night stay at Stefan’s place in Orgiva. There was plenty of space and it was well suited for our young family. The photos don’t do it justice. Sitting on the balconies in the sun, immersed in the scent of jasmine, with a beautiful view. The kitchen is good for self-catering. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we really like Orgiva itself. Thanks so much for the lovely stay, we will be coming back!

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The house has been renovated very sensitively and tastefully in a traditional Spanish style and is a delightful property. Beds were extremely comfortable. The town is different with quite an eclectic mix of inhabitants, there are plenty of bars, great tapas and lots to visit nearby. Stefan was a delightful host, helpful friendly and very warm. We hope to be able to visit again one day.

Stefan was very welcoming and helped us with a car problem we had at the arrival. The house is better than the photos, spacious, clean, very unique and with a wonderful patio. They make delicious fruit jam that you can buy at the house, as well as local olive oil and honey. We would definitely repeat

A complete gem of a home away from home and the photos don’t do it justice. We arrived in the dark, so on waking on our first morning it was heavenly to discover an abundance of ripe oranges and lemons .. All in all a fabulous place to stay, super quiet with amazing views over Orgiva rooftops. I would highly recommend this gem of a place!

We had a wonderful stay at Stefan’s house in Orgiva. It is right in the centre of town yet peaceful and tranquil. The house and garden are really beautiful and the pool is great to cool down. The house had everything we needed. The town is lovely with a pastry cafe minutes from the house. A great healthfood store, supermarket and plenty of fruit and veg. We had fresh oranges of the trees for breakfast along with so much more fresh produce so readily available. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended, in a central location of Orgiva, close to restaurants, cafes and shops. The recently renovated house has plenty of space and is well laid out, it has terraces with excellent views and the garden and pool are a great feature too, I would happily live here. Stefan was always responsive and helpful and I will certainly contact him again when I visit the area in the future.

Beautiful, lovingly
restored, tranquil house in the middle of Orgivia. We arrived by bus from Granada and being without a car was no problem at all. The garden, pool and outside areas are fantastic, even more beautiful than the pictures. The house itself was comfortable and quiet with everything you need provided for you. If you are thinking of going to Orgiva I would not hesitate in recommending Stefan’s place.

What a beautiful house, lovingly restored with such attention to detail. Lots of doors and windows that can be opened letting a lovely breeze through the house, even on the hottest day.
The pool is great and really needed for a cool down, In a garden full of shaded corners and fruit trees. Naomi & Stefan have created a real gem, they are both really helpful and friendly. Orgiva is a great little town, enough bars and restaurants to keep you fed and watered for a couple of weeks but with a really relaxing vibe, the surrounding area is beautiful from the spa town of Lanjaron to the white mountain villages. What’s not to love, get yourself booked in.

The house is equipped with everything one needs. The garden with its pool is gorgeous and the view from the balcony on the illuminated church just spectacular.

tranquility, beauty and coziness, comfort and it is super clean. It’s located in the center of Orgiva and has a
beautiful view of the mountains and the church. The pool is great and the beautiful fruit trees in the garden
show the richness of life in this area of Spain. Stefan and his wife gave us a warm welcome and we have
enjoyed our stay so much. We look forward coming back to Andalucía and book our next stay in casa
Garzopo. We recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a luxurious stay in the mountains of
southern Spain- mind you that the photos shown here don’t do justice to the beauty of this treasure in Orgiva!

Wonderful town house
Garzopo is a stylish, perfectly equipped town house, centrally located but very quiet. It offers a lot of space on several balconies, in the garden and of course in the house. Cooking is fun in the kitchen and shopping can be done on foot. Even large families have enough space and rooms to withdraw with a book. Even in November, swimming in the heated pool was a pleasure.
Friendly reception by the landlords with good recommendations for excursions were given during the welcome as well as a delicious cake.
It’s hard to say goodbye. We would have liked to have stayed much longer.

Lovely confortable and relaxing stay at El Garzopo
We spent three nights at El Garzopo, a lovely renovated house in Orgiva village. It has all the amenities and a very pleasant underfloor heating. The house has also a big patio with a pool, BBQ area and big fruit trees. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the house is also very centrical and we found cafes and shops at walking distance. From Orgiva we had very nice drives to the villages near by: Pampaneira, Bubion and Ferraiola.

Family holiday in Orgiva
We had a fabulous family holiday in August. The house is finished to a high standard. There are some lovely views of the mountains. We spent most of the time in the garden and pool. There garden is beautiful with lemon, orange and avocado trees providing shade. It was a lovely place to relax and have some family time. The hosts Stefan and Neomi were very helpful and friendly and made the stay even better. Hope to return to the future.

Beautiful town house
We spent a week here using it as a base to walk in the lovely Alpujarras. It’s a perfect place for that to see the dramatic mountains and their villages. The house is gorgeous and spotlessly clean on our arrival. It’s very comfortable and when the weather wasn’t good the log fire kept us cozy. The sunny terraces are perfect for an evening drink. A lovely little bar around the corner is perfect for breakfast or tapas. Everything is available in the well stocked supermarket around another corner. Fabulous.

A truly magical place
Beautifully designed house full of Andulucian charm. Wonderfully renovated and everything there for a comfortable stay. Spent most of the time in the garden and eating meals off the terraces.morning is wonderful you can sit on the balcony and watch the sun comes up over the mountains with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice with oranges from the garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The village has loads going on with lovely cafe bars offering free tapas with a drink. We hope to return there soon.
