In 2003 we started with the letting of the Holidayrental Orgiva, Andalucia. This was not the original idea,
but when a local neighbour had a double booking and asked us to help out, we did so without any
hesitation and we are letting since. At first we rented without a pool, which served still as a deposite of
the garden debris:-)
In April 2004 we finished the pool and its surrounding terrace. This time our builder was Paco, an
outstanding builder, who did all the renovations of our other properties, the holidayhome in Guajar
Faragüit, La Cueva and the latest holidayrental in Orgiva, El Garzopo.
In Granada we found a small boutique shop for tiles of all kinds, that ́s where we bought the glass tiles for
the pool , they let us design our own pattern with colours of choice. The terracota floor tiles we bought
again form the family factory north of Granada and the black slate came all the way from Galicia.
Since the pool is rather small , we installed a wave maker, so you can swim without really moving, if you
wish. Most guests only use the pool to cool off. Now the property of the holidayrental Orgiva La Rueda is
complete and very popular! Its ideal for a hikingholiday in the Alpujarras or a holiday with pet or a
romantic holiday retreat for two and even though it is only a small cottage we also have guests booking it
for a long term, mainly in winter.
