For quite a few years we were playing with the idea of selling La Cueva. As we were getting older and our
bodies started having less energy, cleaning and looking after 4 rentals was getting more and more
tiresome. Quite a few interested people looked at the property, everyone liked it, but no one wanted to buy
it, until October 24. A Dutch couple fell in love with it and put in an offer in November 24, we agreed on
a price and signed a precontract, agreeing to do the final signing in March 25.
That gave us enough time to get all the papers in order and get used to the idea , that we would be soon
without La Cueva!
On the 11th of March we signed the deeds and La Cueva had new owners. In a way we were glad and sad
at the same time. Now were left with El Garzopo and La Rueda in Orgiva and the new El Naranjo in
Villanueva de la Vera.
